Dude, that was priceless!
There are very few things that make em laugh out loud, and this was one of them! I would be very proud I I could say that I made this. Also, nice job with the 1337, that was cool. The funniest part was the beginning right up the scene with "omfg Hitler" flashing, and thats when I lost it!! Huzzah!
Let me tell you...if there is any shred of truth or actuality in that, you need to talk to someone. There is just something terribly wrong in that. Don't get me wrong, the animation was exquisite, the style, art, music, all fit together perfectly...its the message I have a problem with. Im no wimp, violence and gore doesn't bother me, But wife beating and child abuse are somethings that just shouldn't made made fun of, even in good spirits. It is a VERY real problem, and one of the only things that I truly despise. I'm a very nonviolent person, but when people do that to others women, CHILDREN, it fills me with rage. I would respectively ask that you not make any more of these. It just isn't tasteful. It isn't right.
Just no. I DID see "Donnie Darko", and It was a great movie, superb plot, awesome overall. This was crap. It wasnt funny at all, and didn't look like it was supposed to be. I don't mean to bash you, but by submitting this and claiming outright it will be funny, yor asking for it. Sorry folks, nothing to see here. I suggest you move on.
Wow...Man, that was...AWESOME!!!
HUZZAH! That was the best home-grown game i've EVER seen on Newgrounds!!! One question though: how did you get all the animation to be so smooth? did you use tween along path or something? Im still trying to figure that out. Also, it would be really cool if you could tell me where you got thos sound effects! Was it just one here, one there sort-of deal, or was it a website choc-full of sound...I have been looking for some neato spacey-sound for a while, and have found zilch so far. Great game, and Ill keep a eye out for the next chapters! I gave you a three for humour just for Mr. Ship. *heh heh*
Yes, the sound FX were found here and there. Mostly from Flashkit. I then manipulated them (change pitch, mixed them) with a couple of sound editing programs. I just wanted to give them a "spacey" (and I don't mean Kevin) feel. Thanks for playing. I appreciate your comments. Oh, and yes...a lot of the animation was done with "motion tweening". Gottah love Flash for that. :)
